ABOUT THE ARTIST

I’m Heather, an artist and surface pattern designer on a mission to elevate and embellish life’s ordinary moments with heritage inspired, timeless designs.

History and nature are at the heart of everything I create here in the Cotswolds, which isn’t surprising, as this beautiful area is known for its rolling hills, honey coloured stone architecture and quintessential market towns. Life here with my husband and young daughter moves at a slower pace, endlessly inspiring my work with its old world charm. When I’m not designing, I spend my days growing my garden, exploring the countryside with my family or curling up with a classic novel.

I’ve always been drawn to the beauty of the past - aged book covers, vintage textiles, old botanical sketches - things with history, detail and meaning - and I love weaving those influences into my designs. My style embraces a moody yet sophisticated aesthetic, balancing sketchy and painterly florals with refined, structured geometrics. I work primarily with classic, muted tones that exude elegance and reflect the natural beauty of my surroundings - forest greens, weathered blues, rich browns and soft neutrals help bring that restful charm of the countryside into your lives and homes.

I’m passionate about adding beauty to everyday life, enhancing experiences in a meaningful way and making a difference through patterns that evoke a sense of nostalgia, comfort and joy.
